You don't need phase 1 trials results to publish findings on your compounds so called anti-cancer properties. Where are the vitro or animal studies? Have you seen them?

I was referring to an Aussie biotech being acquired during an Oncology study( there could of been something, I can't recall anyway). Peplin developed a Topical gel, it was a dermatology product. They weren't really an oncology company, and had nothing to do with treating tumours. Peplin were also in the Phase 3 study were they not? QBiotics are years away from a phase 3, not to mention the 10's of millions in required funding.

Do you really think a speculative novel compound that requires funding and isn't even in Human trials yet, is more valuable than a "tweaked" version of Irinotecan that's fully funded and soon to complete a Phase 3 trial? Also, what are the FDA basing this feedback on, a bunch of case studies?

Personally I like the idea of this company, and they might really be onto something. However it's still years away, and Just knowing the $$ required to sustain a company like this, it seems like a HUGE gamble with red flags everywhere.
