If during WW2 British citizens were fleeing Nazi Germany and coming to Australia by boat, how would we have stopped them ? Or would we have welcomed them ?

There will always be wars and refugees, we just need to accept it and process them as quickly as we can.

While we have a higher standard of living than many other Countries there will always be people trying to get in illegally (economic refugees), we just need to accept it and process them as quickly as we can.

The press like to blow these issues out of all proportion. The politicians think they can win votes by attacking each other. I think there are much more important issues for Australia.
