I think the "Carbon Tax" should be relabeled "Pollution Tax",
Pollution is understood and nobody likes it.
It is measured by Carbon and Carbon equivalent, that is fine. Refer to Global Warming potential.
Pollution Tax would be accepted by the community and penalise those companies who are the polluters.
This would also help Lynas considering the value its products adds to renewable energy.
