Just assuming for a minute that you were a poor Jew (no $$) in Nazi Germany, especially after Kristallnacht, and only those that had money could buy their way into refugee status somewhere.
As a poor Jew, would you think that is fair?
I think that is a better analogy considering we are the ones making the rules. We are not the refugees.
