"Is ABU better value than NST or SLR?"

A difficult question, I have invested in a number of gold companies and I like them all for different reasons, despite what's going on with POG. It's a bit like your children, they are all different but you love them all equally.

I like to take a balanced approach to my gold investments, buying into explorers and producers alike, for all the reasons you outlined in your post and more, do they have a hedge? cash flow, debt, capex, C3 costs, gold reserves, type of ore, dividend and potential for growth. IMO long term they are all great value, a rising POG will see big returns for those buying the sp lows currently on offer.

I have no idea when the turn around will happen, I just believe that at some stage there will be a disconnect between the paper price for gold and the physical market price and that lack of physical supply combined with QE policies going forward will all combine to drive POG to new highs. That said, could well be more short term pain just around the corner. I remember DINGO37 posting some time late last year...."always watch your entry price." I do.

IMO ABU is unique, it offers advantages other explorers/near term producers can not, high grade at surface, very large tenements, huge potential, low capex, staged approach to production, low cost producer and well managed. What I can say is that I purchased my last parcel of ABU at 0.023 cents about 2 weeks ago when there was a sharp drop in the SP. I was and still am very happy with my purchase and yes I'm looking to buy more. Would love to know how many shares TAM are still holding.

I think all going well ABM is great value, however, I am not looking to increase my holding in IDC at the moment but if you were to ask me which company out of the ones I hold offers the potential for the greatest return I would still say IDC. It also IMO carries the biggest risk. NST vs ABM heaps of cash and bullion in the bank vs Oz's in the ground give me heaps of both IMO. Risk vs reward, hence my balanced approach.
