That is one of the problems in political australia.


An equal problem from where I see it is lack of choice.

Look at what we have now - 2 parties and wo leaders.

The choice is between Humpty Dumpty and Daffy Duck!

Where are the statesmen?

Is this the best we can come up with?

Even the skinny black guy in the USA has a leader's voice.

Now, I am not saying looks and sound are as important as performance - but we have neither.

What the hell is going on - is our convict past biting us hard?

Keating looked the part and could use words to cut like a laser - since then? Bugger all.

Now I see a lot of world leaders aren't all that flash either - but we seem to be having a very long drought.

Would someone, please look under the barrel - we have already scraped the bottom and got nothing.
