    The Chinese will pick this up for a song now. Great lesson here in how not to negotiate with the Chinese........

    Give an overseas investor an exclusivity period to buy a mine clearly struggling and then they do nothing in the exclusivity period and wait for the company to fail.

    Then they are free to pick it up for a fraction of the price they originally said they were considering.
