A young Man takes his 12 year old boy to the West on a holiday. They go to Subiaco to watch the footy, the little tacker says to his Dad; Dad who was Chris Mainwarring the person who this stand is named after. The Dad says, son Chris Maiwarring was a footballer who was a drug addict and died of an overdose, created havoc at home for family, but apparently he was a good bloke so they named this wing after him.
