    Matt,
I fully agree with the points you raised today. Fortunately I am a very patient person and believe, that despite the market nervousness we can expect some overwhelming good news soon as already discussed by You, Occam and others.

While the “crunch”-meeting between the Browse project JV partners Shell, BP, Japan Australia LNG and PetroChina is on today, I was able to scoop up some more of the very valuable (at these prices) BRU shares today.

Whichever way the outcome may present itself, we are aware, that the W.A. Government is pressing ahead with the acquisition of the James Price Point as LNG precinct and port.

“The benefits of the precinct go well beyond the taxes and royalties that will accrue to the state government from the development of gas resources in the Kimberley. It includes a significant social and economic benefits package. The decision to acquire the land for the precinct will ensure that benefits from the state government will still flow to the people in the Kimberley, commencing with the implementation of a $10 million economic development fund and a $20 million Indigenous housing fund. The state is honouring its commitments to the people of the Kimberley. These benefits, targeting specific areas of disadvantage, will benefit the local traditional owners immediately, with further benefits delivered once a project proponent has been secured. I
    commend this to the house.”

Some excerpts of the ensuing discussion in the house:

    Question:
Is the liquefied natural gas precinct, to which both the 2011 Browse precinct project agreement and the
2008 strategic assessment agreement with the commonwealth government relate, for the processing of
gas for the Browse Basin only? If No,why not?

    Answer:
No. The 2011 Browse Precinct Project Agreement and the 2008 Strategic Assessment Agreement do not preclude the processing of gas from other gas fields at the Liquefied Natural Gas Precinct.
    ….............

    Question:
Did any of the series of notices given for the compulsory acquisition of the land under the
commonwealth Native Title Act 1993 and the state Land Administration Act 1997 refer to the purpose
of the acquisition as being related to the Canning Basin fields or identify it as a relevant purpose?

    Answer:
No, the notices refer only to those things necessary to establish an LNG processing precinct and port.

I am not keen to trade for today, but am definitely interested to invest for the future.
