The point is DaveR...it makes a point...our Politicians are very handy at sticking their hands in our pockets to pay for their whims. I would bet you that a very big portion of those telephone calls and flights of fancy to see their mates in other states or overseas are totally unnecessary...
It has become normal for Politicians to take every zac they can, and more, with a total disregard as to where the money came from. There is NO accountability full stop!
I for one am sick to the back teeth of paying through the nose for everything in this country from fuel to groceries to motor vehicles and then of course to get personal and company tax whacked on top of that to pay for our politicians excesses.
