Basically nobody currently cares a stuff about Newsat. Just look at buyer depth or should I say lack of it. Have a look at how the few buyers are formed up. It is being stacked to hold SP down.
Using your analogy regarding influence from the ASX what happened to us when ASX rose by 100+ points recently? We aren't ready to play with the big boys yet.
We are only influenced by announcements, satellite progress reports, confirmation of funding finalisation, analysts reports, new contracts and good news stories which is exactly why we are where we are. Nowhere - and ASX sentiment on any given day isn't going to change that one iota.
We have to wait for some of the above to filter through before we can start to look up. Can't stay like this forever. Plenty of announcements must be very close.
