Glut, I couldn't agree more. It is nauseating seeing the coalition pandering to populist politics by allowing the NBN cost to run up to near labor levels.
The NBN should be by the private sector for the private sector. All the government has achieved is blowing out costs and allowing Telstra to make an obscene amount of money from old infrastructure.
I would happily pay for a fibre installation at my house but in perth it's a snowballs chance of hell to see it delivered in a timely manner
