I will regularly trade 15 to 20 open positions a day.
They are not all strictly day trades as I very often hold positions overnight-(as I actively buy the closing auction.
I do get pretty stretched sometimes, usually during open if it's a manic day (up or down). But intraday I generally find no problem.
