The HC fighting fund should benefit from press coverage regarding one of our own. The HC member complained about an ASX company to ASIC for failing to deliver on promised in specie distribution of shares in 2 other companies. After announcing the initial promise, the ASX company issued a further announcement, described as a clarification, regretting the "inadvertent error". These are the central facts which have led to commencement of the defamation proceedings by the company to the HC member . The MD is now suing the member for defamation. The member has apparently already borrowed $18k from his 82yo mother for legal representation. This case is so concerning that nobody will be able to make excuses for not donating to the HC Fighting fund.
