Important to note the announcement dated 28 Jun 2013 which included:

."..From 4,777 metres to total depth, the data acquired to date (LWD logs) indicates several sandstone intervals with elevated resistivity interpreted by Tap to be potential gas pay. Tap interpretation of this preliminary data indicates some 128 metres of potential net gas pay in the well.
A comprehensive wire line logging program to evaluate the well is in progress to confirm the preliminary interpretation of the LWD data.."

An indication of some 128 metres of potential net gas pay in the well is getting me excited.
Drilling deeper againcould be a positive sign.

Could this discovery be bigger than Zola and what effect might this have on any sale of any WA gas assets?

The Bianchi updates have had little media interest. It would be interesting to see if todays announcement has any effect. Also Tap's other partners in Bianchi1 have been quiet thus far. It would be interesting toread their take on the results.
