If Rudd believed in them he would be calling an election now.
Rudd obviously doesn't believe he can win so he is stretching his term out.
If he goes the full term, he will equal Gillard in total number of days in the job. That would be great because they can both be blamed 50/50 for the mess and chaos they've created.
