Thanks for the informative posts, very revealing. What I have yet to see is anyone say that M&G are being forced to liquidate their holdings due to redemptions relating to their poor performance. This seems to me to be the most likely scenario and it is therefore very likely that M&G will be liquidating their entire CDU holdings. With this elephant unwinding it surprises me that anyone is purchasing at these prices. My prediction is there will be an option to enter sub-$1 and within the next six months.

I will freely admit that my theory may be wrong however from a risk / reward perspective I would not consider re-entering until M&G were nearly off the register. Very long-term I think CDU is still a reasonable investment but for the next 6-12 months I think it will be in reverse.
