With the exception of people who are struck down with things such as illness or other random circumstances , financial independence is available to pretty much everyone.
It's simple , spend less than you earn and save the difference. For the vast majority of people , it comes down to choice. I'm not saying it's necessarily easy but it is most certainly doable.
People who think they are doing it hard should take a look at history . Simply , we have never had it better .
Unfortunately for a lot of us it takes a while ( years ) for us to figure this out . It's a pity we can't find a way to pass on the benefit of our experience to our kids in a way they could understand and appreciate .
