I know Techno8 ... I'm just seeing the light ... I've never woken up to how profitable a short position can be ... that one is just an example of EASY money being made. Throughout the Telstra crisis I knew that the share price was headed down, but at the time I never really gave any thought to CFD's, but now that I'm in to them I realise how I could have profited substantially throughout period.
Like I said at the end of the message ... am looking for the next one to be smashed. If it's one thing difficult to find is research on companies which are going bad instead of good. Any Broker could give a list of stocks which are going to perform badly, but they simply exclude them from their lists because MOST people aren't interested in paying a broker money to hear about companies which are going down, even though for us smarter investors it can be quite profitable.
So, if you know where there are publications with regard to profiting on short market positions then let me know.
