There is nothing illegal about discussing stocks offline via email as far as I'm aware.!! There is no insider trading info being passed or no non public info being discussed. In fact, you will find that there are many existing "syndicates" which will co-ordinate there sharing of info and buying and selling activities...I certainly am not suggesting any coordinated buys and sells at all. Simply sharing info offline.
Seems some are in favour and some are not. Which is as I expected...
