Market Cap is Number of Shares multiplied by the Share price.
Your calculation of deducting the potential write off from the current market cap doesn't mean anything.


My point is that if they do have to do a write off the market always reacts negatively (look at NCM share price when they had a write off).


I still like the stock but its crazy that its now up 13% on the day when POG in AUD has hardly moved.
Gold did go up last night but so did the AUD.


I'll be back in in it drops again or when I can see what the Actual costs and potential write off is.


I'm just being careful as this is a dangerous market.
The end of the day a profit is a profit.
Greed is normally what loses punters money.
