re: $2.80 2007-08 sp forecast Once the traffic levels on the copper network are down 80% the upkeep costs will be four time the revenue capacity.
Some analyst edict this point to be within 4 years but certainly before 2010. Going by Merrils logic the corporation wont exist by 2012-2015.
No Chance in this modern digital age, actual talking via an electronic devicce is virtually cost free and the overall real cost of telecommunications has been in free fall the past decade. It will soon be out of control for Telstra. My opinion
