Jantimont, when in doubt. Just copy what grandma and grandpa ate. Eggs, butter, mutton and milk. My two grans are both 90 and were raised on the farm eating what they could produce - eggs, butter, mutton and milk.
Look at the Japanese. Fish have been very kind to their well being.
You are right. Saturated fats are fine in moderation but no amount of trans fats are good for anyone's heart.
