Want to know the best kept secret? Ethanol additive, produced locally by Indcor (ICO), an Australian company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, is added to petrol sold at the pump.
Certain states (NSW for example) permit blends of up to 20% ethanol. Ethanol blend is more environmentally friendly than straight petrol, and since it is produced locally, it's use constitutes a big saving in foreign exchange.
The jury is still out regarding the long term effects of ethanol on the internal combustion engine.
With the current petrol crisis, I believe Indcor has fantastic potential.
IMHO, Indcor will be one of the stand out stocks on the ASX in 2003.
