Hurl, i dont agree. Those who are negative on CDU are hardly writing BS. They have been proven to be overwhelmingly right in their analysis and judgment and this is further reinforced by the recent decision by large insto shareholders to sell down.
Jantimont's post earlier is very honest and true...and hits the nail on the head. Many longtermers in CDU can no longer analyse the fundamentals of this company objectively, and their failure to do so is now costing them big dollars. No...it is certainly not BS.

CDU has been very poorly managed as a project in some quarters...in my opinion. Some of it is even amateur hour stuff, on a recurring bais. I dont for a minute suggest or infer that any of it is dodgy or disingenuous, but I do think the management has certainly struggled. The result is that big investors are leaving the stock...and legitimately selling out of their position. The ASX release by CDU earlier this week, or last,bemoaning this point was amateurish. EMbarassingly so....
True believers have some tough decions to make. If i was a holder, i would still be seriously tempted to cut my position, even at these low levels, but I do know for a certainty that only a mug punter would throw even more money at the stock. IN my opinion, at best, you would sit on your holding and live in vain hope of a short term rebound - but if you had serious licks of money "invested" in CDU - as opposed to play money, then in my opinion, you would be financially reckless to retain exposure to a project that has huge question marks surrounding it. There is ABSOLUTELY, CATERGORICALLY NOTHING ASTUTE about throwing good money after bad in what has turned out to be a dud investment - in my opinion.

The broader market, outside the hot copper cheer squad, has delivered its verdict on CDU for some time now. It seems obvious to me, what the response of sensible investors should be. Those who lose the shirt off their back from this point forward should do so willingly, and with a smile on their face because they wont have the right to dole out excuses after all that has transpired and played out in recent years.
