I think you could transpose CDU to hundreds of other stocks on the ASX and come up with the same conclusion - as the decimation of stock share prices this year has pretty much occurred across the whole market outside the ASX 100 imo - and then some!
As for large Insto's & Fundies selling out - again, your could say the same on plenty of other stocks. This is part & parcel of the market.
Another reason for the slide could possibly be attributed to the movement from explorer to miner where historically the share price WILL fall when the Company makes this transformation. And Wayno and 'suits' are obviously not on the the same page etiquette wise either, lol.
As for Wayno having a moan, I'll say this much - he's probably said what every other Company Director in Australia has thought, lol.
Yes, he's probably gone about a few things in an unsophisticated/heart on his sleeve kinda way, which you would never see any of the 'suits' or the 'big end of town' do - but sheer force of will is how he got this Company going in the first place. He's drilled the heck out of Rocklands (as he said he would), and proved up the resource to create value and measurable evidence for shareholders and for THAT he does deserve much credit.
He's achieved much more than most (and probably more than most on the HC board) and made a LOT of people wealthy when the shares went from 3c to $10 pre GFC - and this is the second time now that he's made a big find & converted the value. So credit where credit's due imo.
Who knows, it could also be the start of a 'play' on the Company - it does tick a lot of boxes imo.
