I have read 8.1 preview version is somewhat better...

Not too interested to experiment at this stage...

My current Win7 is not too bad and with microsoft it generally pays to wait until the 3rd or 4th release to get the many brave early adopters interested in exploring the cutting edge to find and report all the bugs...
