BB - wouldn't rush to move to Windows 8 either lol
I've already moved to 8.1 preview but still only marginally better. I think the Virtual Windows 7 over the top is the way to play it, keeps all warranties together.
FWIW my desktop is still happily married to Windows 7 and hopefully for many years to come :-)
Laptops always have a short life for me giving up the ghost pretty much bang on the 2 year mark. Unfortunately this time around I had no option aside from purchasing a product with Windows 8 pre-installed. There was the odd one hard to find still with W7 but they where crap computers.
I'd say Windows 8 would be brilliant on a Tablet but shit with everything else pity Microsoft couldn't just stick with different operating systems for each.
