bsumisu - Quick to judge people's knowledge of the sharemarket by a post typed in a hurry?
I was merely stating the SP neglecting shares on issue then and now. If you bought 1,000 LYC shares in 2007 for 44c and sold your 1,000 shares today for 44c, are you saying you are happy on your return because the market cap has more than doubled now since then?
And my last sentence of "I would like to think the company is valued more now than they were back then" was also based on the company's worth to shareholders from just looking at the SP... Who really cares if the market cap gets to $7 billion and the price of a share is 10c? Value to me at the end of the day is the SP I bought it at and the SP it is at now.
