Yeah right Bundyau. Look at this from today's News:
Sulking Queensland Maroons referee concerns ahead of State of Origin decider
The Maroons have stuck out the bottom lip over the possibility that they could lose a penalty count at NSW's home ground, ANZ Stadium.
It didn't seem to worry Queensland when they led the penalties 4-0 early in Origin II at Suncorp Stadium - ending NSW's hopes before they started.
Maroons coach Mal Meninga even hired an NRL referee, Matt Cecchin, to officiate at a Queensland training session to prepare his players for Wednesday night's decider.
Why whinge rather than focus on a possible eighth series win in a row?
To put this into perspective, the poor old Blues didn't win a penalty count at the old Lang Park for an entire decade in the '80s.
And while we're dealing in facts, how about this: the Blues have won only 50 per cent of the penalty counts on their home ground in the past 10 matches.
Conversely, the Maroons have won or drawn 84 per cent of penalty counts on their own home ground, The Sunday Telegraph revealed on Sunday.
