$1.50 does seem to allow for a lot of good will.
Most buyouts apply pressure to minimise this component, I would.
My gut tells me that Ansteel would be unlikely to go for full ownership. Not enough in it for them.
At the moment they have:
(soon) a controlling interest in Karrara,
a substantial interest in GBG (2 board seat) meaning no
surprises,
a credible Australian interface for a three billion dollar
operation guaranteeing them supply for 30 years,
a blueprint for the Australian government to massage the
selling the farm movement.
Question...why would they payout 3 billion dollars for full ownership?
