There is no tax break for the employee here. FBT only applies to a company or trust structure. FBT is not applicable at an individual level, so there is no tax break so to speak.

In fact, nearly every salary packaging structure on charges the FBT component back to the employee as part of the packaging model.

FBT is already a massive burden on small business and is already aligned with the highest marginal tax rate.

I think you are missing the point here. This goes far beyond what you will see, far far beyond.
