You sound like you are new to shale/coal seam gas and assuming everybody else is yet to discover what you have just learned.

I have invested in a few unconventional gas companies and there has always been repeated discussion regarding the requirements of drilling and fracking.

Do you think we're not concerned with the environment as well? I bloody well am. I don't want to make money if it means ruining the land and communities in the area.


I'm afraid the anti-shale campaigners have taken a leaf out of the book of big-"insert industry" and using misinformation to distort, exaggerate, mislead in order to achieve their aims.

I think this is rather sad.

Most people in the UK are supportive/strongly in favour of shale gas.
