Sharedawealth i never said that that was a reflection of my life, jut making a point that a fairly large $335k salary was not required when 2 professionals could manage quite easy. I would personally rather a nice house to come home to every night and still drive a crappy car and live within my means. Owning a nice house that appreciates in value is nothing like buying an expensive car to try and impress.
It's not for everyone but if you can afford it then why not?
