I see new cars as a total waste of money with a dull driving experience compared with older vehicles but that is a different topic.
Dining out is so popular in this country because people are generally lazy and more importantly have no idea how to cook good food. I took the mrs out to Neil Perry's restaurant to spend a couple of hundred $$ to see what us commoners are missing out on and honestly it was on par with everyday food we cook but with a fancy name.
So really you would rather live in an average house so you can go out to fancy places and drive a 'nice' car and make it look like your successful? Doesn't make sense to me.
