    Actually Cerhob, even though I am not falling for the governments tricks, why wouldn't this be great for refugees.

    I am not sure of how many refugees the PNG will accept, but doesn't this seem like a win for refugees.

    Australia takes in a quota of 20,000 refugees and now with PNG taking in refugees, it means that more people altogether will be granted refugee status.

    Wouldn't a system ensuring a greater number of people gaining refugee status be for the betterment of humanity?
