Thumbs up for having a go, but we either have to discuss the bible implying it is true or start from scratch and argue it's truth.
So assuming the bible is the word of God for me to answer your question about the jebusites it's only fair you answer mine on the bible prophecies.
Again, trying to find metaphors in Barrabas' release is pointless. If you truly believe the bible is the word of god, then trying to work out WHY a particular thing happened is like trying to read god's mind. Good luck with that!
I disagree with this as Jesus spoke in parables, i also believe there is alot of hidden meanings within bible stories if you are willing to search for them. Like Jesus said
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
