    I didn't post the images, I just directed pholk to the STO presentation of 22/5 pp14-20.

    You can't consider a gas well in isolation, you have to consider the visual and other impacts of things like compressor stations etc. The STO presentation gives a good idea, and no-one here can accuse them of being greenie extremists! I've been sent some recent images of infrastructure in those mines - have to get them onto my 'puter though ...

    The video from the Monk's I provided a link to above gives a great idea of the water issues confronting the gas miners in Qld - I've read comments here demeaning pholk who have seen these ponds as delusional, but they are there for all to see! (Skip to (from memory) the 40 second mark. The cluster of ponds there is bigger than the whole of (from memory) Chinchilla township!)
