That's exactly what I do now. I used to think small cap stocks like this was the best way to make profit and ignored all the more mature and experienced people advising me to just play with the top 50 companies, I thought they were boring and old fashioned. My blue chip shares have pretty much recovered but my speculative ones are close to the worst they have ever been. I'll never buy another spec. not matter what the hype. I have 3 spec stocks now that have gone so low that they aren't worth the effort of selling and like a lotto ticket that is drawn once a year I keep it in the drawer.

The only way you might make money from these dogs is to time it right and simply short it then go long etc etc. I am beginning to realize it's all they are good for because no one cares. It's like thunder dome!!! :)
