Thanks Szaba for the lead up. It would appear that Vaca Muerta has had a lot more going on in regards oil history, as against Acka never having produced.

The Neuquén Basin has been producing for over 100 years and is currently being explored for unconventional resources.

Chevron Argentina currently produces an average of 21,000 barrels of crude oil and 4 million cubic feet of natural gas in the Neuquén Basin, where it holds operated interests ranging from 18.8 to 100 percent.
