You'll be pleased to know that I've now sat through Part 2 of Bolt's edited version of Bolt vs Rudd.
This is the pattern of time that Bolt afforded Rudd to respond to points he made and loaded questions he posed [the times are in seconds permitted for Rudd to talk]:
That's a total 192 seconds out of the run time for Part 2 of 6:18 [almost 50%] - an improvement on Part 1 but thereafter followed by Bolt's responses on his 'Panel'.
Full marks to Kevin Rudd for remaining respectful to Bolt and true to explaining himself to mainstream Australians. Even more so for agreeing to return for another interview on 'Bolt'.
But what about Tony Abbott?
Abbott the PM slayer who has etched his career out of denigrating the efforts of others. The Opposition Leader who now repeatedly refuses to publicly debate the PM despite Rudd's public assertions Abbott has broadcast untruths about his agreement with PNG's leader that may prove a risk to national security.
Do you think we can look forward to Bolt subjecting Tony Abbott to the same treatment he has just done to out PM?
