On ANZ, who cares.

Small investing minds, trying to play in the big league without the slightest idea about what a Bank really does, or how it manages its business on either a fidelity, a tiered capital, or a loan provisioning basis.

If Jolly was around at the time of Bell Group and Bond Corporation, he would have given up the ghost, and returned to the high seas for a meagre living.

The main issue facing the ANZ is whether their recently aggressive lending practices have been such that they have written any suspect loans out there (ie: loans which the other Banks would not themselves, pursue).

If so, then I guess that one would need to examine the intent of recent ANZ linked statements such as those associated with TMS, etc.

Simply put, the ANZ is neither insolvent, nor at risk of insolvency, now or in the future.

And if their debt management practices have anything to go by, then I suggest that you take a look at the TMS example, to ascertain just how aggressive a bank can be in debt-managing a potential risk exposure.
