This is after the fact - but PDN gave a clear sell signal on Thursday.

Today took advantage of the gathering momentum to the downside.

(Did bots "cause" it? I doubt it. They were merely taking advantage of prevailing market conditions. Bots only do what big traders have always down. They just do it more quickly than in the past. When a stock starts to go down, the big traders used to start selling small packets of stock - until they found buying support. They then bought up big. Read Jesse Livermore's biography, as an example of this sort of history.)

Would I have sold on Thursday if I held stock? Probably not - I probably would have held until horizontal support failed. That happened today. But then, I usually restrict my trading to big blue chips, not speculative stocks like this. Much more reliable in their moves. Rarely are such big changes seen in those stocks. (Although I was once heavily involved with CDU - where I did very nicely, thank you.)

If you want to be involved in speculative stocks - you have to expect to take the lumps.
