100% spot on DC. You nailed it.

    Hectobar and Goldenx,

I can see that your previous posts were aimed at my post.
Granted that my last post was speculative but it was not based on a figment of my imagination but on comments made in the Co's announcements.

My estimation of CAPEX at $70M-$100M was based on the comment that the CAPEX should be at 20%-25% of the cost of establishing a brand new mine.
If that is correct then my estimation will not be far from the actual cost.

As DC already mentioned the off take is a no brainer with 5 coking plants within a 100km radius of the mine and knowing that some of those plants are importing CC from as far as Canada.
This puts the off take agreement the last thing on my list.

You also mentioned that we now need to prove the resource by more drilling.
Yes we do but only to convert it to a JORC.
    Why?
Because that's a reporting standard used in Australia.
There is no JORC standard in Poland. Does this mean that NR has no resource?
    No it doesn't.
This mine was successfully mined for many years and the only reason it was closed was because of being uneconomical AT THAT TIME as perfectly explained by DC in his last post.

There is coal in there and there is a lot of it and the drilling is necessary to convert it into JORC and not to discover whether there is coal there or not.

Next point, and this is very important.
There's been a talk that our mine is uneconomical due to our deposit being very steep and nearly vertical.

Yes I've read that as well while doing my research so I called the Co to ask how will they employ modern mining techniques on such a steep deposit.

I can now confirm the following:

Our deposit is nearly FLAT. It gently slopes in some places at 10% and up to 20% at the steeper parts and is perfectly suited to the modern mining techniques.

This mine was owned in the past by a co which also had a mine in Walbrzych some 40-50km away and that deposit was steep. As Walbrzych mine was part of Nowa Ruda some of the stuff that's on the net refers to the Walbrzych deposit and not our deposit.

Lastly, I made an assumption that we can borrow funds for the re-commissioning of the mine and that we could pay it off in a matter of a year.

I will stand by those comments until proven wrong.
Funding should not be a problem and based on a a production of 1Mt pa at $150 t with an OPEX of $80 tonne yes it is possible to pay it off in one year.

The only figure above that was not quoted in the announcements or the press is the OPEX of $80 tonne.
If you do some research you will find that it shouldn't be too far from the truth.

All the best to everyone. I'm off to Europe this weekend for a family holiday but I will check in every now and then.

In the past, twice I went on a holiday the SP's of my other stocks doubled so lets hope the same happens to BMB. Lol
