It's the final step usually before project funding. DFS will have a range of analysis and plans around the design of the plant as well as some sensitivity analysis towards price, detailed recovery information and project economics.
Usually companies go through PFS, BFS and DFS - Prelim, basic and definitive to gain traction with the investing community.
