PS; I thought I might add my reasoning for picking the numbers I have picked for Jul and Aug. I thought to myself, I will play this out in a smart way. So went to look for similar patterns in the past with close proximate setup to the current conditions. I thought the year 1996 fit that bill and tipped in for -2.7% for my July comp. That gave a bad result. Still I'm going to stick with the same pattern but would like to reverse the signs here. Aug'96 saw a 4.05% rise, so i'm going for similar amount in fall here.
Regardless of our tips, July was a good month for the longs, Hope everyone managed to get something out of it. August will see a number of companies releasing their half yearly results and paying dividends. It'll present some nice opportunities for traders alike.
