I'm a bit off to the side in this discussion, but I held TAP shares for almost five years. I just checked back, and I eventually sold them at a 40% loss for 94.5c in 2009.
I think I learnt one thing out of owning shares in that company. I've never since bought shares in anything that doesn't pay dividends. I don't especially care if they're big dividends, but companies that use shareholders' money and don't subject themselves to the discipline of returning anything are, frankly, for the birds.
