Those guys discuss ESI more than they discuss their own stock. They post far more and create far more threads on the ESI page on the other forum than they do on their own. They even contact our company trying to dig info.

They are even asking why should Esi be entitled to ALDP funding if ESI are putting some focus on commerciality in India.

IMO neither ALDP nor India is guaranteed to anyone; and no company should assume ALDP cash is certain, that could prove fatal.

IMO any favourable news coming from India in regard to ESI should add some steel to ESIs chances of ALDP success.

Ashley presented at the Indian Power Stations Conference in New Delhi on Tuesday 14 February 2012 ; ECT presented its Coldry and MATMOR technology, in colaboration with Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) back then, long before ALDP was born. One would have to assume that NLC would have put the Coldry tech through the wringer and ran their own reports ....

The DPI appointed independent assessors to run their ruler over those techs that applied for funding; the DPI obviously want to turn the Victorian Pilbara into reality. Cash was burned in the whole HRL fiasco and cash then diverted over to this ALDP fund pot. They will no doubt want to get thing right this time around. The Independent assessment will give some confidence , but you would have to imagine that they would be even more comfortable that a company like Neyveli Lignite Corporation is considering Coldry for its operations in India...

The DPI wants something that will work; it's a simple process that hits the values required...come on, no matter who you are or what you hold, you would have to have an Element of doubt in your head about a 1km deep thumper and then on to secondary dewatering / squeezing and then through a slurry pipeline to be born a briquette overseas...again as I've said before and it's just my opinion, but I'm convinced that the reason that Exergen want to pipe it wet...is because it can't be transported dry...hence the briquette title.

"ECT has developed a proposal, currently under consideration by NLC, to demonstrate Coldry at their facility, located near Chennai."....Chennai is in the state of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu is hit with daily power shortages, the demand there is at 4,000 Mw....NLC output there is of 2,490 Mw (loy yang is 2210 Mw) . NLC are looking to meet that demand and are about kicked off construction of a 1,000 MW at Tuticorin ; NLC then plans to strike again and surpass the demand and install 7,500 MW of power generation to meet future growth... No doubt they will need a higher KCal product to hit that...they have plentiful brown but no black coal...what's the answer...well boosting their brown IMO

NLC operates three open cast lignite mines in Tamil (of which Chennai is the capital) with a total capacity of about 28 mtpa.....about to kick of construction ...Coldry Issue for construction docs expected this month???!!! All NLCs power plants in Tamil are mine mouth.....so waste heat supply is no problemo what's so ever...

ESIs 'India strategy' news last week did make reference to Matmor a couple of times ..

"There is also interest in developing Matmor to pilot scale and beyond."

Really???!.... Hmmm; have a look under the intellectual property table within the Matmor tab on the ECT website...

"ECT has the exclusive world-wide rights to commercialise MATMOR, with the option to acquire the IP on agreed terms, at any time before 2014.

The Participation Agreement governing ECT’s rights and obligations expires in 2014 and requires the building of a Pilot Plant at our test facility in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria."

Does it actually have to be at Brachus marsh I wonder???? Isn't it coming very close to 2014....wouldn't Matmor be an absolute godsend to a population bursting and rapid growth country which has zippo high quality black coal, but a brown coal supply..

"MATMOR is a unique method for producing high-quality iron from inexpensive, abundant brown coal and iron oxide bearing material such as mill scale, nickel tailings and, of course, high or low grade iron ore"

Remember ...Matmor paired up and tested with product after product and it always come back to Coldry...Matmor just wouldn't work efficiently with any of those others as it would with Coldry .....IMO you can bet your bottom dollar , that one of those were Exergens CHTD......Matmor doesn't hit the mark with any other product bar Coldry;a double whammy IMO...you might have heard dribble from over yonder that Exergen's CHTD has been proven to be the prime ingredient for DICE; what those guys fail to dribble , is that currently ECT have not presented a Coldry batch for testing this side of ALDP...wonder if they will present product post ALDP; wonder if ECT have presented Coldry to Ignite Energy with a batch.....

"If India is now the commercial focus of coldry why should ect be entitled to aldp cash when that scheme is designed to assist those looking to advance the Victorian lignite sector?"

It was ever ECTs intent to cut wings and nest solely in Victoria...'global deployment' have always be the words.

Why would Exergen be entitled to ALDP cash if money bags TATA and co were so confident in CHTD, so confident enough to have formed the -
"Latrobe Valley Next Generation (LV-NG) is a consortium of companies led by Exergen which is proposing a "$1bn plus coal export business" in the Latrobe Valley based on the use of a brown coal de-watering process...

Hmmm dewatering process....briquette....exportation of slurry...sounds like a dewatering process gone wrong IMO....

Dewatering process???? Sounds a bit different to DICE IMO....is that what TATA and Co signed up for....I suppose it maybe an explanation as to why Exergen have to come to the ALDP beggars table and grab the corpse of a IT/Telecommications stock and come to market to scraped some cash together....

Wouldn't you also be desperate if all your hopes of the stock you held, were hinged on a star track tech that seems , can't hit the mark...

I totally agree with you Cannonman; all this harping on, shouting and screaming, contacting of a company that they don't hold stock in by MNM holders , has got seriously boring....

You can't quite blame them though....I'd be crapping myself
