No it's not being played - I found out last week that apparently there is a secondary exchange (can't think of the name of it as I type - maybe someone will know the precise name) that also trades ASX shares.
It happened to me last week. I'd made a small trade and had that trade confirmed via email, but looking at Commsec, it appeared as though the entirety of the trade hadn't been completed.
So, I checked with Commsec and was told there is a separate trading exchange where bigger brokers can do business with themselves WITHOUT it showing up on the normally looked at course of sales info.
