This is really sad, I now looking back through the companies media releases and reports don't believe anything they say without questioning their motives in a darkly speculative manner.

For instance why did they drop the "defamation proceedings" as stated in the QR and other media releases? Was it that TRUTH is a valid defense? Not their stated "goodness of our hearts and let's get along with the locals" reason at all?

Can you imaging how this would go down in court and what a PR disaster it would be? "your Honer the plant has failed and the pipes and engineering have proven to be faulty from the start. This means what we said was true - the environment has been at risk of chemical and radioactive contamination!" Case Dismissed with cost awarded to LYC.

It would not surprise me if the legal eagles advised them to not go there! Nothing to gain and heaps to lose..It will be a long time before I accept anything they say at face value. If it wasn't for the fact that my modest investment in LYC is well under water I would have sold and be long gone. That will teach me to ignore what the TA has been screaming for years and believing the fundamental fairy tale. We live and learn :)
